We Are the Sum of All Our Parts

In 2014, the trust got behind Emily Pearson's book launch: We Are the Sum of All Our Parts. Community and youth professionals teamed up with this 17-year old girl and spent three months creating an interactive performance on mental health issues covering autism, psychosis, depression, dissociative disorder, and schizophrenia. It was performed for the community at Mahurangi College and included poetry, song, dance and comedy all rooting from the heart and covering the theme of empowerment.

It was a very humbling night listening to and watching a diverse group of people, all with a heartfelt, emotional, thought provoking stories to tell.
